I typically paint in oils and have found the logistics of carting all that outside on location a bit much, so I switched to using acrylics down at the riverbank. Its easier from a portability standpoint to me, just the bare bones necessary to paint with. And it dries faster which is a plus to transport. But oils rule in my studio.
